I love listening to true horror stories on YouTube. I have a few favourite narrators; Mr. Nightmare, Corpse Husband and Blue Spooky to name a few, but Llama Arts Channel on YouTube has animated dozens of Mr. Nightmare's stories.
Grab some popcorn and turn the lights off, these animations are scary!
( I am not affiliated with Llama Arts in any way, I'm just a huge fan of his/her channel.)

On June 28, 1993, State troopers spotted a pickup truck on Southern State Parkway with no licence plates. The driver refused to pull over and a short high-speed chase ensued. The truck crashed and the driver, identified as Joel Rifkin, was placed in handcuffs. As the trooper inspected the truck, he detected a foul odour coming from the back. Further inspection revealed the decomposing body of Rifkin’s latest victim.
In 1994, Rifkin was sentenced to 203 years in prison for 9 counts of second-degree murder. Joel Rifkin is also a strong suspect for some of the bodies attributed to the Long Island Serial Killer, who remains at large.
There are different breeds of werewolf.
One breed is always female.
All over England, ‘normal’ men are turning into homicidal maniacs before committing suicide. They don’t know each other, but they have one thing in common.
They all stayed at The SheWolf Hotel.
Inspector Dave Mosely investigates the gory slayings of two young men in a local park. When a witness comes forward, claiming a werewolf did it, Dave is alarmed; alarmed because the evidence fits the story. Each new development in the case brings Dave closer to The SheWolf Hotel.
The SheWolf Hotel’s history is drenched in mystery and blood. The men that stay there arrive sinless, but they leave Damned.

Have you ever seen the Rake? Probably not, as legend says once you see it, it will stalk you until you go insane. Or die, whichever comes first. I’ve collected two terrifying stories about the Rake, just in case you’re sleeping well at night and need something to keep you awake.
Our first story is about a young woman called Kerrie. Her parents sent her to boarding school to ‘bring her out of her shell’. She was a shy timid girl and her parents felt that standing on her own two feet would help build character. She met a boy whilst there and soon they became an item. Though forbidden, Kerrie snuck out of her dorm at night to meet with him on a park bench at the back of the school. It was fairly dark back there and somewhat hidden from view. If the teens were quiet, they probably wouldn’t be caught.

The Colonial Parkway killer.
A serial killer suspected of murdering 8 victims between 1986-1989. All the victims were murdered in couples with cause of death ranging from strangulation, gunshots and stabbing. The third couple’s bodies have never been found. Some suspected these crimes were the work of different killers, not one serial killer.
The Freeway Phantom.
An unidentified serial killer who abducted, raped and strangled six young African-American females between April 1971 through to September 1972. The youngest victim was just 10-years-old. Among the suspects were some members of a gang called the Green Vega Rapists. One gang member pointed the finger at another and provided information only the killer would know. He also gave a solid alibi for the time the murder occurred, proving that he could not have committed the crime. He was promised anonymity for the information, but when the press learnt of an inmate’s co-operation, the gang member refused to co-operate further for fear of retaliation.
The case remains open as a cold case.

Ever since I was 16-years-old I have suffered terribly with Insomnia. For anyone who also suffers with this, you know the crushing impact it has on your life. I think most people have suffered with a bout of insomnia here and there, especially when there's something going on that's causing stress or worry. You go to bed, tired and sleepy, then your head hits the pillow and your brain kicks into high gear, tormenting you and forcing sleep further and further away.
For an insomniac, this happens every single night.
It really has an impact on your life, as well as your health. You wake up from a few hours of restless sleep and go about your day, moody and agitated because you're so tired. All day long you walk around feeling like you could sleep standing up. You're positive that you'll be able to sleep tonight, since you're so tired you can barely concentrate. Then, you go to bed. And lay there wide awake, stressing yourself out because you know how hard tomorrow will be if you don't get a good night's sleep. It is terrible. I've had sleeping tablets from the doctor, that did work on the nights I took them. But the next night, when I didn't take a sleeping tablet, I didn't sleep. I really cannot put into words how horrible insomnia is. Being so tired and irritable all the time leads to severe depression, which I've also suffered.
As a Christmas gift, I received an aromatherapy kit with a diffuser from my hubby.
